Embrace the pairing of warmth and cool in our Metro Rug, designed to infuse your space with quiet sophistication. Exuding refined tactility, this rug is handwoven from felted New Zealand wool on a Panja Loom where three weavers work in harmony, weaving each loop by hand.

Upon closer inspection, two levels of design are revealed: beneath the looped ivory and beige pile lies a subtle linear motif, creating a richly layered aesthetic. The result is a harmoniously luxurious finish that adds texture and depth to contemporary interiors.

Living Room Guide

For high traffic areas such as Living rooms, we recommend selecting a rug that is easy to care for and durable, such as a flatweave, hand-tufted or hand-knotted designs. 

A key aspect to choosing a rug for your living area is of course placement. For lounge and living rooms we suggest each piece of furniture sitting entirely on the rug. If some furniture cannot sit fully on the rug, it should have at least the front two legs resting on the rugs surface to keep the space feeling cohesive. 



Dining Room Guide

For high traffic areas such as Dining rooms, we recommend selecting a rug that is easy to care for and durable, such as a flatweave, hand-tufted or hand-knotted designs.

A key aspect to choosing a rug for your dining area is of course placement. For dining rooms, you need to consider not only the sizing of table but also the number of chairs that will need to fit on the rug, as well as whether you want the chair to remain on the rug when pulling it out from the table. To avoid the chair rocking back and forth on the rug, measure the space from the dining table to where the chair sits pulled out to ensure you select a rug large enough.



Bedroom Guide

You have multiple choices for sizing when it comes to rugs for your bedroom, the perfect size all comes down to size/shape of your room and how you want to position the rug alongside your bed.

Ideally you want a rug to go right under the bed, whilst also allowing for some generous overhang on either side to ensure the rug is what your feet touch when getting out of bed. Otherwise, if you have one side of the bed up against a wall you can afford to flip the rug around and have it halfway under your bed with the rest overhanging on the free side of your bed.

Alternatively, you can go out the box and utilise a round rug at the bottom corner or side of your bed.
