At Tribe Home we love to celebrate our community. This year we will be highlighting and celebrating stand out project, homes and designers that have seamlessly integrated our rugs into their design philosophy.

Our first Style Spotlight is Studio ab’s Number 42, Northcote project, led by Anny Benjamin. This stunning project features our Noble Dark Beige, Chelsea Camel and Vogel Honey rugs from our brand new 2025 Collection, providing welcomed inspiration on how to use our new designs in your space.

When asked to provide some behind the scenes insights into her selections for this beautiful project Anny generously shared her the inner workings of her process and inspiration for Number 42:

"For the Interior Decoration and Styling of Number 42, every detail was meticulously curated to honour the home’s heritage while introducing a warm and sophisticated overlay that complemented its architectural evolution. The rugs played a pivotal role in anchoring each space, offering both tactile luxury and visual cohesion."

"In the master bedroom, the Noble Rug in Dark Beige imbued the space with a soft sense of refinement, its understated tone enhancing the moody palette and serene atmosphere. A classic staple from Tribe Home, the Noble Rug is a testament to timeless versatility, I love the Noble's ability to seamlessly integrate with diverse interior design styles."

For the other spaces, I sought something that felt fresh yet harmonious, pieces that would unite the design narrative while exuding understated opulence. When Tribe Home shared their unreleased 2025 Collection with me, it immediately resonated. The collection's shaggy textures and soft, muted hues brought a subtle nod to retro design, adding a layer of character that sings to me. 

"The Chelsea Camel Rug was selected for the living room for its plush, inviting texture and neutral palette. It served as the perfect canvas to balance the room’s bolder design elements, lending the space an air of timeless elegance."

In the second bedroom, the Vogel Rug in Honey introduced a layer of warmth and depth, complementing the soft, inviting retreat we envisioned for this space. The family’s history of beekeeping further informed the design, weaving an authentic narrative into then selection of pieces. The Vogel Honey Rug from Tribe Home, paired with the Honey Table Lamp from Coco Flip, subtly referenced this heritage, extending even to the smallest details, such as the honey soap in the bathroom. These details began to fall into place serendipitously, weaving them into the overall narrative.
